(“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers a text messaging communication service that allows prospective and current clients to contact our firm and receive replies regarding legal services, consultation scheduling, case updates, and general inquiries. This service is available when you text our firm’s phone number, which is published on our website at https://lowther.law.By sending a text message to our firm, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Messaging Terms

  • This is a conversational text messaging service. You initiate the conversation by sending a text message to our published phone number.
  • We will respond to your messages with information relevant to your inquiry, including but not limited to: responses to legal questions, consultation availability, appointment confirmations, case status updates, and follow-up communications related to your matter.
  • We do not send unsolicited marketing or promotional messages.
  • You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our phone number. After you send the STOP message, you will receive a final confirmation reply. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from us. To rejoin, text our number again to start a new conversation.

Message Frequency.

Message frequency varies based on your interaction with our firm. You will only receive messages in direct response to conversations you initiate or in follow-up to matters you have discussed with our office. You will not receive recurring automated messages.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates will apply to any messages you send to or receive from our firm. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan and pricing.

  • To resume receiving messages after opting out, simply send a new text message to our phone number.

Opting out of text messaging will not affect any other communications between you and the Firm, including phone calls, emails, or in-person consultations.

Confidentiality of Communications.

Communications sent via text message between you and our firm may be protected by attorney-client privilege to the same extent as other forms of communication.
